WEB ONLY: Women's soccer hosts Purdue, Indiana

The MSU women's soccer team's home unbeaten streak will be tested this weekend against two Big Ten foes.

The Spartans (7-4-0 overall, 3-3-0 Big Ten) will host No. 17 Purdue on Friday at 4 p.m. The Boilermakers (8-2-1, 4-1-0) have a 6-1 road record. Their Big Ten-leading goals per game offense will test MSU's goalkeeper Stacy Heller, who is second in the conference in both saves and saves per game.

Indiana (5-6-0, 2-3-0) will visit Old College Field Sunday at noon. The Hoosiers are coming off their first back-to-back wins with victories over Iowa and Marshall.

MSU was shutout by both Ohio State and Penn State last weekend.

MSU's star midfielder, senior Tiffany Laskowski, will look to pad her Big Ten statistics as she is ranked in the top ten in six offensive categories.
