WEB ONLY: Men's soccer beats Wisconsin, 1-0

Spartans' men's soccer shut out Wisconsin, 1-0, Sunday in Madison, Wis. The game was scoreless for the first half and much of the second half before senior midfielder Jeff Krass made a goal off an assist from junior attacker John Minagawa-Webster.

The assist brought Minagawa-Webster to a tie with sophomore midfielder Ryan McMahen for the team lead with 19 points. The game's only goal was Krass' first of the season and the game was senior goalkeeper Mike Robinson's fifth shutout of the year.

The Spartans' overall record is now 10-3-2 (3-1-2 Big Ten) while the Badgers' record overall is 9-9-0 (1-4-0 Big Ten).

The Spartans will finish up their regular season this weekend with two home games at Old College Field. They host Bowling Green at 3 p.m. Friday and Notre Dame at 1 p.m. Sunday.
