This Friday will be a huge game for the MSU women's soccer team. The Spartans will take the road to match up against Michigan in Ann Arbor. The game is at 4 p.m., and it is the final conference series game of the season.

Topping the obvious rivalry between the teams, they will also be competing for points in the Pontiac Challenge Cup - a friendly competition between the schools essentially benefiting their respective athletic programs.

U-M currently holds a 3-2-4 Big Ten record and an overall record of 5-5-6. MSU stands firm with a Big Ten record of 4-5-0 and an overall record of 9-6-0.

The MSU soccer team also will play Sunday. It will travel to Kent State to match up with the Golden Flashes for a 1 p.m. start.
