The fifth annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk will take place Saturday in Lansing.
Making Strides is an American Cancer Society's program, that works to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer. Last year, 400,000 people across the country participated in the walk and raised more than $28 million.
Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. in front of the Capitol and an opening ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 3.5-mile walk will begin at 9 a.m. from the Capitol.
