Police briefs 09/17/03

A 43-year-old female MSU employee reported a university vehicle was missing from the Kellogg Ramp on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The 2002 White Dodge Intrepid, valued at $15,000, apparently disappeared between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15. It was the second MSU vehicle to be taken from that lot in the past month. A vehicle stolen earlier was returned.Police have no suspects.· Three 18-year-old male MSU students told police that their laptop computers were stolen from a locked dorm room at West Akers Hall during the weekend, McGlothian-Taylor said.The students said the items stolen, which included three computers, a video game system and games, were valued at $3,700. A victim told police that the room was locked and the items were out of plain view.Police have no suspects.
