A 51-year-old university employee told police her purse was stolen from a room on the third floor of the Natural Resources Building Tuesday afternoon, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman said the purse, valued at $20, had credit cards, a calculator and make-up inside. She left the purse unattended in an office with the door open.Police have no suspects.A 31-year-old student told police his 1980 Schwinn Beach Cruiser bike was stolen from a bike lot near Farm Lane between Aug. 6 and Aug. 8, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man told police the $150 bike was black painted over red with a metal basket. It also had a lock valued at $15.There are no suspects.
