A 22-year-old nonstudent told police he was assaulted at about 11 p.m. on Sunday in West Circle outside Yakeley Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The victim said he was driving on campus when he saw his friend's car. When the victim stopped to talk to the person, identified as a 20-year-old non-student, the friend pushed him and accused him of telling his girlfriend that he had cheated on her.The victim was pushed several times and attempted to get away. He refused treatment and isn't seeking charges.Police have not contacted the suspect and the incident is still under investigation.• A 19-year-old student told police Sunday that his Panasonic television, worth $635.99, was stolen as he moved his belongings between rooms in North Case Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student discovered the DVD/VCR combination flat-screen television missing when he returned between 11:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Sunday.Police have no suspects.• A 23-year-old nonstudent told police he was assaulted by three men near Snyder Hall at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The victim, who admitted that he had been drinking earlier, said the men accused of him of breaking a window and pushed him to the ground. He was treated for a minor cut over his left eye and released at the scene, McGlothian-Taylor said.Police identified two 19-year-old students and one 19-year-old nonstudent but did not pursue charges.
