A 23-year-old female student reported being struck and left injured by a vehicle driven by another female Wednesday morning in front of the Main Library, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said.The student reported a sore wrist and hip, but didn't seek medical attention, Brown said.Police have identified the motorist.· A 29-year-old male student reported the explosion of a mercury thermometer Thursday. The thermometer was left in the oven too long in the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building, Brown said.The student went to Olin Health Center for precautionary treatment, she said.· A 41-year-old male reported being assaulted by another male Thursday evening on the third floor of the Computer Center in a bathroom, Brown said.The victim was accused of plugging up the toilet and making a mess by the other man, Brown said. An argument ensued and the man punched the victim who kicked his assailant away, Brown said.Police are investigating.· A 54-year-old male reported his Motorola cell phone stolen from the Kellogg Center on Friday evening, Brown said.The male left the cell phone charging on the floor of the Big Ten A room and noticed it gone after returning from leaving it unattended.Joseph Montes
