A university employee reported a Pepsi vending machine knocked over Wednesday at Cherry Lane Apartments' laundry room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The machine still worked, but damage is estimated at $400. An MSU police officer ticketed four Dewitt High School students for spray painting their initials on the bridge on Farm Lane on Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 21-year-old female student reported a threatening phone call Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said the caller threatened bodily harm to her, but she didn't recognize the voice, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police have no suspects. A 30-year-old male reported his rental car stolen on Tuesday at IM Sports-West, McGlothian-Taylor said. The car was a tan 2003 Chevrolet Malibu valued at $18,100.The man noticed his car keys had been stolen from his locker after he finished working out, McGlothian-Taylor said. Personal items in the car included clothing and a cell phone. There are no suspects. A 29-year-old male exposed himself to a 45-year-old female Monday near University Village, McGlothian-Taylor said. The man drove back and forth near the apartment complex appearing to be lost, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman approached the man to assist him with directions. He removed a map located over his crotch exposing himself, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police have arrested a suspect.
