Two students reported cell phones, backpacks and a Columbia jacket stolen from a 1999 Saturn parked by Jenison Fieldhouse, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The students said the items, valued at $360, were stolen Tuesday. The car's driver's side window was down about an inch and the owner of the car doesn't know if he locked it. Police have no suspects. A 19-year-old male student reported damage to a 2001 Jeep Cherokee parked near Service Road and Harrison Avenue, McGlothian-Taylor said.The car's driver's side door was dented between April 16 and 17. The loss is estimated at about $500 and police have no suspects. A 38-year-old female employee reported a man looked at her Tuesday in the women's locker room at IM Sports-West, McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman screamed, followed the man and called 911. Police have no suspects. A 44-year-old male university employee reported a damaged plant in an Old Botany Building greenhouse, McGlothian-Taylor said.The Taro Elephant Ear plant had two branches torn from it. There also were plants, a shovel and a couple of nets thrown into the building's ponds. The incident happened between Monday and Tuesday when someone entered the building with a key. The loss is estimated at $200 and police have no suspects.
