Tickets are still available for the annual MSU hockey bust, which will be held Thursday at the Holiday Inn South, 6820 S. Cedar St. in Lansing. They are $50 and can be purchased through the Ralph Young Fund at (517)432-4610.

Kelly Miller, a former MSU All-American and NHL player, will be honored with the program's Distinguished Alumnus Award at the banquet.

Also in the world of MSU hockey, today is the spring's National Signing Day. The Spartans are expected to sign four defensemen to bolster their depleted blue-line corps.

A.J. Thelen, Brandon Warner, Ethan Graham and Brad Robbins are all expected to pledge their services to MSU in the fall.

The quartet will join five other players - three forwards, a defenseman and a goaltender - in next year's freshman class.
