A 22-year-old female student reported a verbal argument with her 24-year-old nonstudent boyfriend after he kicked in the door to her Spartan Village apartment, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman left her room and called police. When they arrived, the man was gone and her purse and a cordless telephone were stolen. The total loss of the items is $98 and the damage is estimated at $100. The case is under investigation. An 18-year-old male student reported a stereo system valued at $250, a Panasonic TV-VCR combination valued at $200 and another stereo system valued at $200 were stolen between Feb. 27 and Sunday at Rather Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.When the man and his roommate left for spring break they left the door locked, but when they returned, it was unlocked. Police have no suspects.
