A 2002 Chevrolet Blazer was keyed several times, causing $1,500 in damage between Sunday and Monday at the south end of the parking lot near Fee Hall, a 21-year-old male student reported, MSU police Sgt. McGlothian-Taylor said.An 'X' was carved into the cover of the vehicle's spare tire and derogatory comments also were carved into the vehicle. Police have no suspects.• A wallet containing $800 was stolen Monday at IM Sports-West, a 57-year-old nonuniversity-affiliated male reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man placed his wallet in a coat pocket in an unlocked locker while taking a shower. Police have no suspects.• Two women reported an unidentified male peeping as they were taking showers Monday at IM Sports-West and IM Sports-Circle, McGlothian-Taylor said.• When a 24-year-old female student attempted to transfer funds from her savings to checking account, she realized someone had obtained her numbers and had taken more than $1,000 from her account between Jan. 19 and Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.• A TV-VCR combination and a DVD player were stolen between Feb. 5 and Monday from a conference room in South Case Hall, a 39-year-old female employee reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The door to the room is sometimes locked. No value was reported for the stolen items and police have no suspects.• More than $48 was embezzled between Jan. 4 and Thursday from the Wilson and Case halls Sparty Convenience Stores, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police have a suspect and are continuing investigations.• A license plate on a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse was stolen between Friday and Monday in the southeast corner of Lot 89, the commuter lot, a 19-year-old male student reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.There was no damage to the car and police have no suspects.• A fire extinguisher valued at $57 was stolen between Friday and Monday at Yakeley Hall, a 40-year-old male university employee reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The extinguisher was removed from an unlocked case. It's unknown when it was last seen and police have no suspects.
