A 20-year-old female student reported she received between 20 and 25 harassing calls on her cell phone Tuesday night while at Holden Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student has no idea who made the calls and said she received the phone on Christmas and not a lot of people have the number. She said the voice sounded like a college-aged female. There are no suspects, McGlothian-Taylor said. A video data projector was stolen between Monday and Tuesday from the Engineering Building, a 46-year-old university employee reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The projector was left in a room and the employee noticed it was missing. The value of the loss is $55 and there are no suspects, McGlothian-Taylor said. A wallet valued at $15, containing $46 in cash and personal items, was stolen from a backpack in the Natural Science Building, a 23-year-old female student reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student left the backpack partially zipped and left it unattended while she was working in the building, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 36-inch color television set valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from Mayo Hall, a 38-year-old male university employee reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.A window in the room was damaged. The room usually is locked but the employee found the room opened, McGlothian-Taylor said. The damage is about $20.
