A 53-year-old male university employee reported a shipping crate was stolen between Saturday and Monday from a Holmes Hall loading dock, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Time badges and keys were inside the crate. The value of the loss is $50 and there are no suspects, McGlothian-Taylor said. The same employee reported another crate holding a new foosball table valued at $250 was stolen, between Jan. 15 and Thursday from the same loading dock, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects. A 53-year-old nonuniversity-affiliated male reported his leather wallet valued at $20 containing personal items and $4 in cash were stolen Monday in the basement of IM Sports-Circle, McGlothian-Taylor said.When the male returned from swimming he noticed the lock he left on the locker containing his items had been removed. There are no signs of forced entry and no suspects, McGlothian-Taylor said. A wallet valued at $25 containing a $50 American Eagle gift card was stolen Monday from a Phillips Hall room, an 18-year-old male student reported, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student went to bed, left his door unlocked and when he woke up he realized his wallet was missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects. Several washing machines were vandalized between Friday and Monday in the basement of Cherry Lane Apartments, McGlothian-Taylor said.The machines' hot and cold lines were cut and the money slides were pried off with an unidentified tool, McGlothian-Taylor said. Internal parts of the machines were found in a nearby trash can. The estimated loss is $540.
