Police ticketed four MSU students and two visitors Wednesday night in Mayo Hall for use of marijuana, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.An anonymous caller phoned police about the smell of the drug in the building and officers made the arrests after they arrived. The six violators have been brought to court on misdemeanor charges, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 24-year-old non university affiliated woman reported her and another car's passenger side window had been smashed with an unknown object Wednesday night at the University Club, McGlothian-Taylor said.The female's car, a 2002 Ford Explorer, had $200 of damage and her purse, makeup and a Palm Pilot were stolen from underneath a seat in the car, McGlothian-Taylor said.The items are valued at $700. A backpack and three textbooks were stolen from a 27-year-old male student's 2000 GMC Sonoma, McGlothian-Taylor said.The items are valued at $160.
