The MSU men's and women's cross country teams closed their seasons at the NCAA Championships on Monday in Terre Haute, Ind.

The women's team placed 12th, falling one spot from last year. Junior Michelle Carson led the team, placing 20th with a time of 20:25.6. Junior Jamie Krzyminski placed 33rd with a time of 20:46.7.

On the men's side, the Spartans placed 30th. Junior Andrew Marsh placed 41st with a time of 30:40.1. Brigham Young won the women's title with 85 points, and Stanford won the men's title with 47 points.
