East Lansing Mayor Pro Tem Sam Singh was named to the National Council of Nonprofit Associations Board of Directors.
The board consists of 17 delegates from nonprofit groups across the nation and the council is a group of 37 state and regional nonprofit associations.
Singh currently serves as president and CEO of the 600-member Michigan Nonprofit Association. The group provides education and training for the nonprofit field and encourages volunteerism.
