• The University Activities Board presents “MSU Coffeehouse 2002” at 9 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. The talent show for MSU students offers cash awards for first, second and third place.

• Comedian Steve Brewer will perform at 7:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Connxtions Comedy Club, 2900 N. East St. in Lansing, for those 18 and over. For more information call (517)482-1467.

• Lansing bands Mason’s Case, Under Construction and Lucid Jones are performing for MSU’s “Up ‘til Dawn” from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at IM Sports-West to benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Former patients will share stories starting at 9 p.m. Students can pay $20 at the door.

• Campus Center Cinemas will be showing “From Hell” at 7:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., “Bandits” at 7:10 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. and “The Last Castle” at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. at Wells Hall, courtesy of the Residence Halls Association.
