A presentation titled “Mexican Immigration Workers: Is Working in the U.S. Good or Bad for Health?” will be held noon Thursday in 301 Nisbet Building. Don Villarejo from the California Institute for Rural Studies will speak at the event.

Anthropology senior Joshua Jones said although low turnout has plagued the event in previous years, students who attend will benefit from the message.

“Students should show up if they have an interest in the migrant workers,” he said. “This would be a good way to find out what resources are in the community.”
