Police briefs 01/15/02

An employee at the Communication Arts and Sciences Building reported $3,200 worth of items stolen, said MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown. A color printer and a box of software were taken between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported $300 in damage to his Bailey Hall room between 1:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. Sunday, Brown said. Two beer bottles were thrown through the student’s window and two chairs were thrown off the floor’s balcony. Police have a suspect.• A female student reported $250 in damage to her vehicle, Brown said. The spoiler was ripped off the student’s 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Lot 83, on Service Road. Police have no suspects.Shaun Byron
