After Sunday’s 1-0 loss in double overtime to Penn State, the MSU men’s soccer team dropped down to at least third in the Big Ten.

But the Spartans proved they could still compete with a 4-0 win against Western Michigan on Wednesday at Old College Field.

The Spartans (9-3-1, 3-2 Big Ten) controlled the game from the start, but could not get the ball into the net.
