MSU won its lone exhibition game, a 3-1 victory over Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti on Sunday, and is now gearing up for its regular-season opener at home Friday against Western Michigan.
In the Eastern game, sophomore forward Tiffany Laskowski picked up a goal and an assist and senior defenseman Nicole LePlae notched the game-winner on a penalty shot at 57:59.
Sophomore midfielder Erica Whatley added an insurance goal at 62:29.
After hosting the Broncos, MSU plays Bowling Green on Sunday at Old College Field.
