This letter is a response to the article on Red Bull nutrient drink, published in The State News on Feb. 8 (“Pure Bull”).

I would like to warn the consumer that Red Bull is nothing but pure bull. This product boasts that it “improves performance and concentration” by giving you a good supply of taurine and glucuronolactone. Like any other supplement product, the consumer must beware that the Food and Drug Administration does not regulate supplement products. What does this mean? This means, although the product says it contains these ingredients, nowhere does it have to list how much. This means there could be little in the product.

Now let’s look at the ingredients in this product. Hmm
