ASMSU reps asked to work more hours

ASMSU’s Academic Assembly recommended this week that its vice chairpersons double their summer work hours to match a pay raise due to take effect in May. ASMSU is MSU’s undergraduate student government.

RHA names president for 2009-10

MSU’s Residence Halls Association, or RHA, elected hospitality business sophomore Emma Perot as the organization’s next president during a meeting Wednesday night that lasted into Thursday morning.

Residence Halls leader moving out

When MSU Residence Halls Association began nominations for next year’s president on Feb. 11, a nomination for current president Mark Dobson caused a roar of laughter from the assembly and an ear-to-ear grin from Dobson.

Another ASMSU official announced his resignation at a Student Assembly meeting Thursday. Garrett Faulk stepped down as internal vice chairperson of Student Assembly, citing personal reasons.

ASMSU chairperson steps down

A week after his job performance came into question, Christopher Kulesza resigned from chairperson of ASMSU’s Academic Assembly on Tuesday night. Kulesza planned to become the Director of University Budgets, but the assembly did not confirm him to that position.
