Michigan State women’s basketball senior guard Nia Clouden declared via Twitter on Tuesday that she will be entering her name into the 2022 WNBA Draft. Clouden had played four seasons but has chosen not to use her extra COVID-19 year of eligibility.

MSU secured seventh place in the regular season Big Ten standings after beating the Terrapins in the final game of the regular season. They will play Maryland, the 10 seed, again Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m in the second round after both teams earned a bye.

After sophomore center Hunter Dickinson made a hook shot to put Michigan up 21 with 13 minutes left, he did not break eye contact with the Michigan State bench while returning to defense. He barked at MSU players and Head Coach Tom Izzo while holding his hand towards the ground, signaling that no one on Michigan State was big enough to handle him.
