Stop Richard Spencer group holds community discussion

February 20, 2018

Members of the public voiced their opinions on Richard Spencer's upcoming visit to MSU Monday at the Downtown Capital Area District Library in Lansing.

Stop Spencer at Michigan State University held another discussion to give the community a chance to talk about Spencer's visit to MSU, which is scheduled for March 5.

Members of the community were able to ask questions and discuss what Spencer's visit to MSU means for the future of the community.

The meeting began with a presentation that covered why Spencer's visit was scheduled and how it will influence the MSU community.

From there, the discussion moved on to the public, as they discussed different tactics they could use to resist Spencer during his visit.

The organizers of Stop Spencer at Michigan State University encouraged people to bring banners and posters along with them to the Stop Spencer event
