According to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, offensive lineman Thiyo Lukusa has quit the MSU football team.

As a recruit, Lukusa was a three-star prospect coming out of high school and the No. 9 player in New Jersey, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-5, 333-pound lineman appeared in seven games as a true freshman during the 2016 campaign.

Lukusa posted a message on Instagram a few hours before he confirmed to Solari that he was leaving the program.

I would lie and say it was fun but it'd be a lie. Miss Matty and the boys though.
