A suspected arrested by the East Lansing Police Department in connection to a home invasion earlier
this week has been arraigned and charged, according to an ELPD statement.

17-year-old Craig Sims from Lansing was charged with first degree home invasion in connection to the home invasion that occurred in the 400 block of Kedzie Street on Monday around 10:15 p.m.

After his arrest and subsequent investigations conducted by ELPD, Sims was also charged in connection to several other home invasions in East Lansing's Cedar Village area.

Those additional home invasions include one on March 4 in the 200 block of Cedar Street, one on March 10 in the 300 block of Bogue Street, one on March 17 in the 300 block of Village Drive and one on March 18 in the 1000 block of Waters Edge Drive.

A second suspect wanted in connection to the Kedzie Street home invasion and possibly others is still at large. ELPD is asking community members to keep all windows and doors locked and to call 911 if they see or hear anything suspicious around their home or in their neighborhood.
