Police respond to possession of marijuana, prostitution

Prostitution

A 45-year-old male with no university affiliation was arrested at Candlewood Suites at 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 4 for soliciting a prostitute. He responded to an online advertisement and after conversing with a 21-year-old female and a 33-year-old female, both with no university affiliation, he was arrested. The case is still open and under investigation.

Minor in possession

At 12:31 a.m. on Oct. 1, a 19-year-old male student was arrested after an anonymous call reported an individual throwing objects and stumbling as he walked down Fee Road.

Possession of marijuana

At 10:28 p.m. at North Hubbard Hall, officers were dispatched referencing a drug complaint. They spoke with the suspect's Resident Assistant and a 19-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana. The case was forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.

Possession of marijuana

At a traffic stop near Michigan Avenue and Harrison Road at 11:55 p.m. on Sept. 30, an 18-year-old female was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana. The case has been forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.
