East Lansing 54B District Court to be closed Jan. 30

January 26, 2015

East Lansing 54B District Court will be closed Jan. 30.

Chief Judge Andrea Andrews Larkin made the announcement, and said the court will be closed in order to conduct its annual Physical Case Inventory as required by the Supreme Court.

Court offices will not be open for walk-in arrangements or payments, though previously scheduled courtroom activity, including felony preliminary exams, may be conducted. Defendants and witnesses should report to the appropriate courtroom.

The Criminal Division's inventory will occur during two days, rendering their phones out of service Jan. 29-30.

Drop boxes at the Police Desk at 409 Park Lane, and the East Lansing City Hall parking lot at 410 Abbot Road are available for filings and payments.
