On a six-game losing streak, it is hard to find much optimism. But in Saturday night’s loss, the Spartans seem to have found something they can build upon — a blue-collar work ethic.

With bruising players like junior defenseman Jagger Joshua and the senior defenseman Krygier brothers on the roster, there are bound to be a few whistles every night.
This four-game skid has the Spartans tumbling down the standings and they will have to turn things around quickly to regain momentum.
Michigan State will head back to East Lansing with hopes to not let the season free fall as they welcome the much improved Ohio State Buckeyes to town.
