There were less than 20 minutes left in Keith Appling’s MSU career at the Breslin Center, and his Spartan team was getting outplayed by Iowa.Having not made a three-point shot in more than a month, Appling hoisted one up and splashed it, much to the delight of the Breslin crowd.?One problem, it didn’t count.?But that didn’t stop Appling.
