Faculty say that, in many cases, that's a bad thing, especially when those interim administrators are rushed into positions lacking the institutional and day-to-day knowledge to be effective. On the other hand, faculty say, some interim administrators are especially willing to make necessary changes before their limited time is up.

Medical examiner questions cause of Brendan Santo's death at MSU

A report is set to be released this evening calling into question the death of Brendan Santo, a Grand Valley State University student who went missing on MSU’s campus in October of 2021. Oakland County's Chief Medical Examiner Ljubisa Dragovic believes Santo’s case should have been left ‘undetermined’ rather than closed, as no water was found in his lungs during the autopsy.

Marijuana retailer Pure Options is gearing up for an exciting event that’s set to turn heads and elevate the local scene. The dispensary will host a back-to-school event which will include a live performance from rapper 2 Chainz, food, music, and a chance for participants to watch MSU football.

MSU Developmental Speech Lab uses virtual reality to research stuttering

Approximately five to ten percent of children will stutter for some period of time in their life, with 75% eventually recovering and the other 25% persisting, leading to a potentially lifelong communicative disorder, according to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communicative Disorders. Michigan State University’s Developmental Speech Lab is using virtual reality to understand why.
