Michigan State football fans can return to Spartan Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 11 for the team’s first home game against Youngstown State. Face coverings are required around the concourse for all those in attendance, and fans are encouraged to bring their Spartan spirit to cheer on the team.

Students wishing to fill out an exemption form and return to campus without the COVID-19 vaccine have until Aug. 31 to complete the form. Students filing for exemption are still required to fill out the vaccine verification form and indicate they are pursuing an exemption.
Vail said that the uptick in cases has been caused by a number of factors such as nonexistent mitigation efforts that has led to a spread of the Delta variant in the area.
