Mr. Trump,
Every five years, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, under the presidential administration, issues the dietary guidelines for Americans. Its purpose is to point Americans in the right directional, nutritionally and otherwise. In the initial draft of the newly released guidelines, they recommended we eat less meat. When reading the published draft, the said recommendation was removed.
It sucks. That’s for sure. Losing a parent would never be easy, but during college seems to be the worst time for it to happen.
I am a student in the James Madison College. I graduate May 7 with a degree in social relations and policy as well as political theory and constitutional democracy, or PTCD. After my experiences, though, I wish I had never taken PTCD.

America should always be a place where a person who is willing to work hard has a fair shot to get ahead and have success in life, no matter his or her background. Dear Spartan Family,
As a future physician, I want to make sure that every patient receives the best possible care, which means adhering to the standards established by the medical profession.
Not many kids grow up wanting to work in insurance. I did. When looking at colleges, I only considered those that offered an actual insurance degree — at the time there weren’t many programs to choose from.
The presidential election is looming closer, and Michigan has already taken to the polls to vote in the primary. Last Tuesday the citizens of Michigan spoke, and Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump both prevailed for their parties.
I am writing to you as a MSU student concerned about the devastating burden of neglected tropical diseases, NTDs, on global health. NTDs are a group of bacterial and parasitic infections that infect almost one in six people worldwide, including more than half a billion children.
Year after year, Michigan State University prides itself on being a world-class institution. From our nationally recognized academic programs, to our consistently impressive athletic teams, Spartans set a standard. That being said, it is time we re-commit ourselves to a better standard to address widespread issues across the institution dealing with cheating and plagiarism, or plainly: academic dishonesty.
Let's understand something right at the get-go: the insanity of this presidential election cannot be fully credited to Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump. Rather, they are merely history's lucky pawns that made their moves at the right meeting point of certain developments that have defined 21st century American politics.
Before the season began, many knew senior guard Bryn Forbes was going to be MSU's primary 3-point specialist this season, but nobody expected the level of success Forbes has attained during his final year in East Lansing.
Now more than ever, the young people of our generation need to make their voices heard. They need to vote.
