The streets of Charlotte are filled with people this week for the Democratic National Convention, but it isn’t just delegates that are inhabiting the city.
While I was leafing through the archives of The State News, I came across a piece that caught my eye. In 1981, people were completely swamped with rain, so much so that the Red Cedar flooded.
