On Oct. 22, 2020 the team received a GroupMe message saying, “all practices tonight are canceled,” Head Coach Matthew “G” Gianiodis said. “We have a team mtg at 4 PM. Location is forthcoming.” The team was invited to the club by the former athletic director Bill Beekman where they were told this would be the last year of the program. Since then, Goit has enjoyed having more free time after swimming consumed her life and schedule. “Now, I definitely enjoy my freedom and having the opportunity to do the things that I want and love in life,” Goit said.
