The Albert Avenue Garage at 188 Albert Ave. is now fully open to the public, with 305 parking spaces available.
The garage doubled the amount of parking available with additional spaces for downtown residents, according to a city press release. In total, there are more than 600 spaces for both public and residential use.
The city urges caution while entering and exiting the new garage while construction is ongoing.
Eastbound Albert Avenue is closed until late September between the garage and M.A.C. Avenue. Until then, the garage exit will be westbound only.
Rates are the same as nearby City garages at 75 cents per half hour, with a $15 per day maximum charge.
