Forty-eight crimes were reported to MSU Police last week, according to the Clery Crime and Fire Log, the database MSUPD uses to log all of the crimes on and around campus.

Of the liquor violations, two were listed for minor in possession and the other was for an open container.
Three of the five controlled substance violations were for marijuana possession, one of which resulted in an arrest. According to the log, another violation was for “dangerous drugs” and the other was for the manufacture and possession of a synthetic narcotic. The synthetic narcotic incident was also reported with non-aggravated assault and a weapons offense.
Cases of counterfeiting and impersonation occurred at the administration building and a case of identity theft was reported from MSUPD.
Both of the burglaries reported on the log — at Akers and Wonders Hall — occurred on Oct. 9.
On Oct. 9, an individual reported a peeping tom at Butterfield Hall at approximately 4:40 a.m. This was the first peeping tom reported to MSUPD since a Sept. 18 incident that occurred at Shaw Hall.
