Park District development agreement removed from tonight's council agenda, pushed back

May 23, 2017

The development agreement between the City of East Lansing and developer 100 Grand River LLC regarding the Park District redevelopment project has been removed from the East Lansing City Council’s agenda tonight as the agreement has yet to be finalized, Eilis A. Seide, assistant to the city manager, confirmed via email.

The State News noticed the development agreement had gone missing from the agenda as details of the agreement were set to be released throughout the day today.

Seide confirmed she removed the agreement from the agenda shortly before 1 p.m. and said it would appear again on the June 6 City Council agenda.

The city later released a statement confirming the information.

“Please note that Item #29, originally on the Business Agenda for tonight's East Lansing City Council meeting, has been removed and will be included on the June 6, 2017 East Lansing City Council agenda instead. Item #29 was the consideration of a development agreement between the City of East Lansing and 100 Grand River LLC for the Park District redevelopment project. The item has been moved due to the fact that the development agreement is not ready.”
