Michigan 2018 gubernatorial candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will be on campus Monday at 7 p.m. in Case Hall room 335A, according to the MSU College Democrats Facebook page.
El-Sayed will "speak and answer questions about his race to the governor's office," according to the post.
According to Aljazeera, if elected in November 2018 El-Sayed will be the first Muslim governor in the United States.
Earlier this year, the MSU College Democrats hosted fellow 2018 gubernatorial candidate Gretchen Whitmer.
