MSU police report 35 arrests over Halloween weekend

MSU police reported that 35 arrests were made during the Halloween and University of Michigan game day weekend.

The arrest numbers increased since MSU's last home game day weekend, when 22 arrests were made during homecoming weekend.

Liquor violations led to the most arrests this past weekend with 16, while 12 arrests were made and classified as miscellaneous criminal offenses.

Other arrests made during the weekend include four for trespassing, two for non-aggravated assault and one for marijuana use. 

Three cases are still active investigations, and no arrests have been made.
