Dunnings  also stated he will be on medical leave from his position until July 1st. 

Dunnings was charged earlier in March and the process was explained by Attorney General Bill Schuette and Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth at a press conference. 

Later, an affidavit was released describing years of alleged crimes. Dunnings faces 10 misdemeanor counts of engaging the services of a prostitute which could merit him a 93 day jail sentence or $500 fine per count, four misdemeanor counts of neglect of duty which can result in one year in jail or a $1000 fine per count and one felony count of enticing a woman to commit commercial sexual or acts which carries a 20 year jail sentence.
