Lansing man charged for evading police

December 4, 2011

A 25-year-old Lansing man faces multiple charges after attempting to evade police in a car chase down Lake Lansing Road on Friday night, East Lansing police Sgt. Mark Vande Wouwer said.

Brandon Moore was charged with one count of eluding and evading police, two counts of hit and run and one count of driving without a license after an East Lansing police officer attempted to pull him over for not wearing a seatbelt, and he failed to stop, Vande Wouwer said.

Moore hit a parked car almost immediately after the officer attempted to pull him over but continued driving.

Moore was apprehended at about 10:30 p.m., approximately an hour after the chase began.
He currently is in the Ingham County Jail, and his bond is set at $10,000.
