Bike reported stolen outside Wonders

November 16, 2011

A 20-year-old student reported his bike stolen between 8 p.m. Oct. 9 and 8 a.m. Oct. 10 from outside South Wonders Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student attempted to use a U-lock to secure the bike to a rack outside the residence hall, but when he returned he found the bike was gone and the lock still was on the rack, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The men’s-style bike was a blue 21-speed Schwinn Suntour valued at $60.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
