Student interns at White House

International relations junior Charles Kraiger will be interning at the White House this fall, according to a White House press release.

White House interns work in departments such as the Office of the White House Counsel, the National Economic Council and the Office of the Vice President.

More than 100 interns are selected each fall, spring and summer.

The application for the summer 2012 internship will be available online Nov. 7. The deadline is Jan. 22, 2012.

Applicants must be enrolled in a higher education program and be U.S. citizens.
