When MSU prepares to go to battle for its fourth-consecutive win against Michigan in October, the Spartans will do so in Nike Pro Combat style.
MSU will join eight other schools chosen to don the unique uniforms, which are scheduled to be worn during some of the top rivalry games next season.
The uniform features enhanced durability with robust padding and protection between the knees and shoulders. It also has improved thermoregulation, which helps keep the body cool.
“Our student-athletes are very excited about being involved in this unique experience,” MSU head coach Mark Dantonio said in a statement.
