The music scene in East Lansing continues to be a selling point of the area in the summer season.
(SCENE) Metrospace, 110 Charles St., will host a live concert by up-and-coming band Sons of a Battle Cry at 8:00 p.m. on June 16.

The Lansing band bills themselves as a hard alternative rock band and features covers, such as “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes, among others.
Sons of a Battle Cry features Alex Vuich on the bass guitar, Christopher Milbourne as the lead guitarist and Marcus Leahey-James on the drums.
Admission to this all-ages concert event is $3. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
