Students and community members can nominate a local hero for the annual Crystal Awards, presented by the East Lansing City Council, to honor individuals, groups, organizations, and local businesses and enterprises.
To nominate an unrecognized hero, submit an online or paper nomination form by Friday.
Nominees must have demonstrated strong leadership or contribution that has enhanced one’s quality of life.
Nomination forms can be found online or at East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road, and Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road.
